In this context, education emerges as a vital resource for a meaningful life. Its presence or absence serves as a fundamental divide within our Indian society today. Historically, India recognized the transformative power of knowledge— "gyana marga mukti marga" —yet, in ancient times, this wisdom was often reserved for a privileged few.

In response to this legacy, the St. Thomas Province of the Little Flower Congregation proudly established Navajyothi College in Cherupuzha, affiliated with Kannur University, under the inspiring motto, "Lighted to Enlighten."
